===1980 mercedes benz diesel wagon - $3250=== NON TURBO WAGON but other stats look good -- lower mileage, newer engine and parts emailed 10/7 Sadly parting with this non turbo wagon. On it's 2nd motor, 178,000 miles, second transmission of 2 years ago. Strong motor, many of those parts that need to be replaced at 20 years of age have been done, such as the drive joints, motor mounts, thermostat, rear brakes, brake master cylinder, fuel tank sender. Many minor repairs have been done. Has good tires and heat, air is not hooked up. One front fender is dented at the very front, plastic piece around the lights on drivers side is broken. This does not affect performance at all. This car has a surprising amount of pick up considering no turbo, my mechanic was impressed, but of course you won't be racing up highway hills. I've added leather seats including a split seat in the rear, for practicality. Has sunroof and cd player. A very lovable car. Run on biodiesel for the last 2 years, but not converted to svo. 10/8 reply: I have no pictures of this car. The thrill of a nonturbo diesel is that it is a very basic motor that should last a very long time, a workhorse type vehicle. A turbo makes the compression more efficient, so you have more power and less wasted energy, but at the price of higher heat meaning more wear and tear on the rest of the car as the result, and thus the motor may not last as long. If you get a car with a turbo, be sure to let it run a bit each time before you turn it off, to release heat and thus prolong the life of the motor. The turbo will help the diesel to perform like a gas car, the nonturbo takes some getting used to but workd very well. Be sure to change the oil very often if you get any diesel mercedes. Good luck. It turns out I'm needing the car a little longer than I thought, so feel free to check in with me any time- could be days weeks or months, I'm just not sure yet. 10/10 reply: Call me if you'd like to see my car- Stephanie 503-233-8849 p.s. I am only comfortable accepting cash, thanks ----
