We replaced the microwave. Now the bulbs that go under the microwave and illuminate the stove top look like this
Halogen 25w 240 lumens T4 bulb type G8 base 120 volts
Available from the local grocery store.
The important thing is the T4 connector with two pins, 8mm apart. And the 120 volt rating.
I just ordered an LED replacement bulb like this:

Pull the oven from the wall and replace the bulb from the back. Make sure the power is off, because opening the door turns on the light even when the light button is off.
