Maytag washer troubleshooting
- model and serial number
- I started a smallish load on the normal setting and it said it would take 59 minutes.
- When the timer showed 1:06 remaining in the cycle, it was about one third full of water. It should never fill that high.
- About 5 minutes later, it was half full of water and showed error code E1 F8 and there was water leaking from the bottom of the washer like it had overflowed..
- I told it to do a "drain and spin" cycle and it showed 17 minutes left
- It spent a long time in the "sensing" state. Maybe 10 minutes
- At 12 minutes remaining in the cycle, it is slowly spinning, but ramping up.
