- set up a replacement for skype telephone service
- block ads to tablets watching youtube over wifi
- write point-of-sale software for reading rooms: Caesar
- build a remote controlled submarine
- set up a pair of microphones on opposite edges of the house to detect the speed of loud cars
- set up a raspberry pi to be a solar-powered sensor communicating over wifi
