We have been operating on an austerity budget as far as gadgets go for a few years. Our gaming desktops are about ten years old. The server is about 8 years old. Our color laser printer is broken. The one part of the system that is new is the media server. Here is my plan for refreshing the infrastructure in generally chronological order.
- $200 color printer
- $800 laptop for Ryan (depending on what work issues)
- $500 tablet for Julie
- $800 laptop for Julie
- $800 desktop for Julie to replace dead system
