After being sadly disappointed with Gutsy Gibbon on my ibook, I've installed Fedora 7 and it seems to be miles ahead. The install went right the first time. I had to change the display size from within the gui, but that was easy. I am still trying to figure out how to get a right click with the lousy one-button mouse that is the ibook. Add this to your /etc/sysctl.conf: [COLOR=Blue] dev.mac_hid.mouse_button_emulation=1 dev.mac_hid.mouse_button2_keycode=87 dev.mac_hid.mouse_button3_keycode=88[/COLOR]
