  • model and serial number

  • I started a smallish load on the normal setting and it said it would take 59 minutes.
  • When the timer showed 1:06 remaining in the cycle, it was about one third full of water. It should never fill that high.
  • About 5 minutes later, it was half full of water and showed error code E1 F8 and there was water leaking from the bottom of the washer like it had overflowed..

  • I told it to do a "drain and spin" cycle and it showed 17 minutes left
  • It spent a long time in the "sensing" state. Maybe 10 minutes
  • At 12 minutes remaining in the cycle, it is slowly spinning, but ramping up.
  • load comes out damp but not soaking, and not really cleaned

Now fix it

  • Washer manual is here:

  • Replacement part for the pressure sensor hose: W10525781
  • the damage on our hose was from wearing against the spinning drum, just like in the video (notice the bandaids from moving the sharp and heavy sheet metal covers on the washer)

  • after replacing the pressure sensor hose, and adding an extra cable tie to prevent this problem again, the washer works like normal.
