Today's page is dedicated to Toontses and Jambi, our cats. We just said goodbye to them as we left them in cat care (Hi Leigh!) for the duration of our trip. It was terribly sad, but we know they'll be in good hands.

A few other details before getting to the Shrine of the Felines®:

I believe my consulting duties are done or very nearly done and so feel more and more unemployed. How wonderful! It was hard to let go however. I can't imagine getting a job any more wonderful than my last job.

We're anxious to get back on our mountain bikes and hit the trails in Wadsworth Falls state park. We're just getting started using our clipless pedals that attach our feet firmly to the bikes. The Shimano pedals came from the factory on a really tight setting that made it horrible to try to get out of them, but the trusty bike shop (Pedal Power) got them all adjusted for us. Have I mentioned how much we love Pedal Power? Hi Sue!

What's up with Tom Waits switching recording labels? I just happened to notice he released two albums in May when I wasn't watching. And they were under the Anti label instead of Island. If anybody knows the poop about that event, I'd like to hear it.
